Depeche Mode - Ultra from the HMV Special Offers

Managed to grab a copy for £8.99 before the price went back up to £14.99 : )

I was not a fan a Depeche Mode back in the 80's

But must admit 'Ultra' (released 1995?) is a really good album.

HMV - £4.99 [...Special Offers back in September]

Ordered this 3 months ago and it's just turned up!

I'm a bit confused, 33.3rpm record has 3 tracks each side so is this an LP or EP...?

My Vinyl Reissue God hasn't been good to me lately but decided to take a bet on this EMI Reissue.

This is what they claim:

"2011 Remastered Collector's Vinyl LP: Stunning Dynamics, Giant Soundstage, New Details, Dead-Quiet Surface"

Wish I had a first UK pressing but all I have are several rather noisy original US pressings.

I remember my Japanese pressing with all those cool postcards and stickers.

I don't even care for Pink Floyd that much but this is a total nostalgia obsession.

I found these two in an audiophile sale box in a record shop in Brighton, both sealed and a lot less than the £40+ each that they appear to be everywhere else

This was a bit of a bargain too.

A beautiful album with some tender songs. Gatefold cover, poly lined inner sleeve. All in all a very nice package indeed.
