If by local you 'the RB' then no, they had run out when I phoned them.

I had to take a risk and get it from a well known auction site, managed to get it for a good price in the end from a dutch seller.

The box has a couple of marks/dents in it but the vinyl is nice and flat and quiet. The only thing with the vinyl is that the centre holes are not 'punched' through cleanly and are rough around the edges!

Sounds wonderful though, well worth the money!!

Interesting that the cover photo is now the same as previous vinyl versions and not the one shown on Amazon's website!

My copy is on its first play.

Playing side one again before i turn over just to see if i can drive through the crackles on tracks one two three and four.

Under a spot light their are loads of scratches on side one.

Side two is ok and sounds great.

Just got off the phone to amazon and the women said my replacement will have the cover that shows on the site.

Will have to see when it gets here next week??

Shame about your copy of LM, mine sounds fine both sides. Mind you eveything sounds a lot better since having the Cirkus and DV-20X2 fitted!!

Is the the replacement, with the other cover, on the Virgin Music Label as well?

If so do you know why there are two different covers?

The one that came yesterday had 2012 on the bottom of the back cover.

I just said to the women on the phone about the cover art work not being the same as whats on their site.

She said the replacement will have the church or what ever it is on the cover.

Will have the see when it turns up next  Wednesday.

I also just received the LM album from amazon. It has the original cover with 2012 printed on the rear and not the new cover featured on the amazon site. The vinyl is very good a couple of clicks but good sound quality.

Under a spot light it looks like its had years of going in and out of a rough cardboard inner sleeve.

at £20.42. The Electra feels like a 180 gm pressing(German). I've run it through the RCM and it's beautifully silent; no clicks, pops or warping. 

Just noticed on my copy the "Doors" is in black print and the background colour in the photo is white, not yellow.

Haven’t played this one yet but can see it’s beautifully made, and enclosed in a proper poly-paper inner-sleeve too, nice touch!

Will give it a spin later : )
