Andy,

If my thoughts count for anything ??

Dull as dishwater or ditch water,

Take your pick.

You will get more fun and music from this CD that can be had very cheap from a amazon seller to play in/on your CDP.

Stu.

Hi Andy,

Usual Knopfler stuff.  A few blues tracks, quite a nice album really.

Cheers

Andy

Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1: Richter/Munch/BSO

Posted on: 07 September 2012 by kuma

More Kempff:

Curious to hear his older Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 with Van Kempen compare to his later set with Leitner.

Another Hi-Q reissues: Karajan's Mozart No.40 & 41, Richter/Maazel's Brahms No.2.

Kuma,

I see the Kempff/Bill Murray thing again in that cover photo.

This arrived yesterday.

More of the same for sure, but (for me) that's no bad thing, and they have jollied up some of it up with steel drums of all things. Only listened twice though and I suspect it's a grower. Good reviews it has received.

The packaging (vinyl) is sumptuous though, and that it comes with a cd as well - saving all that download stuff for the 'pod - is a bonus, and nor was it expensive for a new-release vinyl.
