A rare find at my second hand record stall at my local market.
1978 rare Japanese compilation of Genesis in mint condition, although no obi. These go for £40-50 on eBay I paid less than £10. SQ excellent.

Nice one Mr J. By the way have you listened to the Fink live album 'Wheels Turn Beneath My Feet' I think you might like it . It was on Ninjatune for £11.05 + free postage.
Regards Graham.
I've had it for a few months Graham. Nice album. For a recent recording it's not bad quality wise either. Stu recommended it to me. He's a mine of very useful music information. It's a loss to this forum, IMO, that he's not allowed to post anymore. Luckily we do keep in touch off the forum.

Totally agree regarding Stu. Is there nothing we can do? A forum petition maybe. It seems a little draconian in my opinion. Does he have a right to appeal?
Take Care.
Another from the market. 2 nice minty albums for a tenner. Original Decca.
My copy arrived this morning. A nicely presented package. The only thing I didn't care for were the inner sleeves but these have now been replaced. Nice flat 180g well centred silent pressing although there was a lot of static on removing the discs from the inners. This was removed with the obligatory clean on the RCM before playing.
The music is great. It's one of those records I liked from the first play. The sleeve says it's been recorded analogue but I think it was digitally mastered before pressing but that aside it's a great album and a steal for just over 11 quid. Thanks to Sheffield Graham for the heads up on the preorder price from Amazon.
I haven't played my vinyl copy , I thought I might save it for a while clean it first on my 1/3 of an RCM when it arrives.
On the CD there seemed to be something odd going on in the treble area tracks 1 & 2. I'll give another go later.
Looking forward to hearing young Pollini's Etudes.
This is a new-ish release in 13 years! by Ben Folds Five.
A customer put me onto Jake Bugg yesterday, I've been listening to his debut album ever since on Spotify but fantastically it is available on vinyl so I couldn't resist, plus got the re-recorded ELO album that Jeff Lynne put together last year and the Classic Leonard Cohen hits album -
MOFI 45rpm
Arrived in the post this morning. 1st record cleaned and side one sounds excellent.
Released on Monday so hopefully Amazon will pull their finger out as I can't wait to sit down and get to know this album -
Amazon sent me an email today saying that they have despatched Pust The Sky Away (vinyl).
MoV's issue of Blonde on Blonde, both Genesis boxed sets and the remastered Seconds Out. Retro Heaven.
A couple have just arrived , sourced from the pink place:-
