I just ordered it this evening so not here yet.

 

Looking forward to hearing it as all the tunes are winner in this album. No fillers.

 

Hoping it'll better my original pressing which can use better frequency extensions.

It did turn out well, didn't it. I have an old red label Columbia as well in somewhat less than pristine condition. I did listen to my new pressing at my dealer yesterday using the new Kandid cartidge. The record sounded pretty freaking awesome.

Back in the day I listened to BS&T with my older brother on his 8-track and department store speakers. Getting back into them on s/h vinyl all these years later I'm blown away by their sound quality and dynamics.

It's one of my favourite albums. I'm tempted by the 45rpm reissue.

Not yet as my main rig is torn apart, atm!

 

One thing I did find out is that my original '82 copy isn't the same is this reissue with different engineers and performers. Apparently, the original soundtrack was not released till the 90s.
