Arrived today in the post:
A clean original copy for .50cents.
Haven't had any new vinyl delivered for a few weeks, but Patty Griffin - American Kid came a couple of days ago and is very good.
Captain Beefheart's Clear Spot, £10 new on 180gram (the nicest thing you can do for your ears) to replace my old (originally s/h) scratched copy.Pleasingly the sq is excellent. A good loud blast of 'Big-eyed beans from Venus' sure make work a distant memory. Amazing stuff.

That's a cracker of an album,
Dvorak New World Symphony Istvan Kertesz Vienna Philharmonic
Just picked up the mono version of this one s/h. It is on the London label CM 9295.
I can not find info on this particular pressing. My searches keep coming up with the Decca stereo pressing. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this. Apparently considered one of the better New World Symphony recordings.
Arrived yesterday first play,This a a fabulous sounding re issue from 'Back to Black' everything about this album shouts quality . A big thank you to Dr Blues for the heads up.

I ordered in on Tuesday night from Pop Market, £25.99 all in. Arrived 10 minutes ago via UPS - from the States!
Really well packed, with the records separate from the sleeves and lots of bubblewrap inside and outside the box.
That's what I call service!
Kevin,
Didn't you get stung for £8 handling charge from the Post Office?

Hi Steve - no. It came via UPS courier (lovely cheerful lady).
Fingers crossed, I've ordered from Pop Market six or seven times now and I've never been stung by customs fees, even when the PM parcel has come via the Royal Mail. So far anyway...
Lucky you. Every time I order from the US I get stung for the charge.

I bought 2 copies of the Floyd's Wish You Were Here SACD's from the US and with import duty was close to £100.00!!!
Never again
Three EMI Testament reissues.
Brahms: Violin Concerto Ida Haendel/Celibidache/LSO
Interesting pairing!
Cantelli/Philharmonia: Beethoven: Sym. No. 7
Been looking for this vinyl so looking forward listening to it finally.
Last two records are endorsed by Jay Coleman in the reissue thread.
On Order
I seem to have 'accidentally' spent the thick side of £400 in Sound Knowledge in Marlborough...
Joe Bonamassa - An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House
Marillion - Fugazi
Ry Cooder - Bop 'Til You Drop
Ry Cooder - Borderline
The Beatles - 'The Original Studio Recordings' - latest vinyl boxed set reduced from £349 to £299 as it was slightly shop soiled. The contents are still sealed up.
Oh and a couple of CDs...
Hugh Laurie - Let Them Talk
Joe Bonamassa - Driving Towards the Daylight.
The Beatles boxed set was not in my plan: there it was and I just casually asked how much it was: "Down to £299 from £349 as it is the shop display copy and the cover is slightly marked" he said.
"Oh that's not bad, but better not" said I.
"Just buy it - you've been talking about it for ages and you won't be happy until you get it" my wife said.
So here we are! And I am a very happy bunny!
So that lot will delay any thoughts of an amplifier upgrade for a bit! Ho hum!

Yes, they seem to have tempting offers, but I have avoided them thus far through fear of incurring the dreaded import charges. Maybe I'm being over-cautious - but I had the same experience as Denis A. (on the exact same Pink Floyd WYWH sacd). I also vowed "never again".
