White Stripes - Elephant
Cream - Live at RAH
Rainbow - Rising
Dio - Holy Diver
But best of all I've just found a great shop I didn't know existed before last night and had a long conversation with two lovely fellas.

Sadly no actual Record Store Day items for me. I went for the Animals' 10" ones but did not get them... Oh well, did buy these instead

The guy in the shop I visited was bemoaning the meagre number of record store day items he'd received and, perhaps worse, the Cream Live at RAH sets had started to appear on eBay at £200 pounds LAST night. I paid £70 for mine and it is going nowhere. There are only 200 of them apparently.

A local record shop had already boosted the price of some items compared to Rise. No more business from me.
I did get several items from including the very good Jamie XX remix 12".

Is that the Goodbye Cream LP?

No, it is Cream Royal Albert Hall 2005. A 3 LP box set on white vinyl.

Unfortunately not many record stores left in my hometown. But there's one that I have never visited before. He's having his store in his house, two rooms transformed to "store". Approximately 80% vinyl and 20% CD. For this occasion (RSD) he even had a band playing live in his backyard. Lovely stuff.
I came home with The Division Bell and Traveling Wilburus Vol 1, both vinyl.

Head in Belfast, had a record event to-day sounded very impressive. Some of the guys who were potential buyers and had been there early ,felt that some of the stuff was a tad expensive. No player now, so will stick to cd's

With a significant life event on the horizon my better half suggested a turntable to add to our system. So although not strictly a record store event - we bought a Project Debut - Carbon in Red, Project USB phono stage and some Chord Crimson Vee 3 interconnects. All setup within about half an hour and my vinyl (purchased between 1977 and 1985) has come alive again - I can't believe the sound quality from this so called entry level turntable. When time allows I'll update the system pics thread.
Cheers
