HDX and SACD

Have just ripped a SACD disc to my HDX. All normal information such as tracks etc etc seem to have downloaded but it will not play!

Is this a known problem or fault?

Peter, not aware of any issues here

I have a number of SACD discs ripped o my HDX and no issue at all

In my case the HDX ripped to the NAS which is se up as the primary source, but dont think this shoud be of any relevance

Check your Ripping history log in Destop Client, this disk may not have been ripped correctly, you may find errors...

If it is the case, erase it from the HDX, and retry to rip it.

You may copy it on a CDR and rip that CDR...

Some SACD' cd layers are really tough to read.

Two recent AF releases have been impossible for our HDX to rip but dBpoweramp and my PC drive found the CD layer just fine. I then sent them across the network to the NAS.

Thanks all for replies. Unfortunately I don't have any other means of ripping so guess I will have to put up with not being able to rip this particular album to the HDx. Interestingly I happen to to look at the ripping monitor via my iPad when ripping and it did look as though it was ripping each track successfully.

I'm not aware that the HDX supports SACD.  However, if it appears to be ripping something to your HDX hard drive, can you see the ripped files from your computer (either through the DTC or Windows Network view)?  If you can see it, can you play it on your computer through the network view?
