Unitiqute & deleted files from hard drive

(not to sure if this post belongs in this forum...)

I own a Unitiqute that reads it's music from a HardDrive. On this harddrive, i have MP3 files of an album at very low quality. Using my mac, i deleted the MP3 files from the drive & replaced them with WAV quality files (for Mac users put there, i deleted the content of the trash can).

When i use the finder, i see that the MP3 files are gone & have been replaced with the WAV files. Unfortunately, the Unitiquet still "remembers" the MP3 files & can't seem to find the WAV files. It's mindboggling & i really don't know who to ask (Apple, Lacie, Naim...).

When you say that your Qute "reads it's music from a HardDrive," what exactly do you mean? Is it a drive plugged into the usb port, or do you use a UPnP server with the files stored on a hard drive?

I suspect that it's not the Qute that is 'remembering,' but some other piece in the chain.

Thank's for your reply. I formatted my disk altogether...ain't sure why, but it seems as though the Lacie config was giving me problems
