Here's two to start.
A Day In The Life. Beatles 'Sgt Pepper'
In Every Dream Home A Heartache. Roxy Music 'For Your Pleasure'
Regards Graham.
Riders On The Storm. The Doors. LA Woman.
Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). Jimi Hendrix. Electric Ladyland.
Steve
Echoes Pink Floyd Meddle
The End The Doors
If I can pick a live track it would have to be Space Trucking from Made in Japan
Space Truckin - Machine Head. All of the tracks on Machine Head are classics, but this a little bit more than classic.
Voices in the wind - Let It Roll. Not a typical Feats offering, this wasn't Under the Radar, it was subterranean.
Todd Rundgren: Just One Victory-A Wizard, A True Star
10cc: 'Don't Hang Up' - How Dare You!
I am the resurrection,,Starts well just gets better
Homesick by Airbag on All rights removed.
Surf's Up on the album Surf's Up by the Beach Boys.
Garageland, The Clash - s/t
Yo La Tengo: Night Falls On Hoboken
Over 17 minutes of loveliness that noodles off into the night on a gentle wave of loping bass and squally feedback. The perfect final track, on my desert island list!
Bruce
Eclipse.
There is no dark side of the moon really, as a matter of fact it's all dark.
Todd Rundgren: Just One Victory-A Wizard, A True Star
Can't believe I forgot about this. I listened to it a couple of weeks ago.
Definitely better than my two suggestions.
Led zeppelin IV - When The Levee Breaks
+1 for Todd's - Just One Victory
Sunhouse - Animal from Crazy On The Weekend

King Crimson - Fracture from Starless And Bible Black

Sylvan - Artificial Paradise
Transatlantic - The Whirlwind, any number from the guys is an EPIC
DreamTheater - A change of Seasons:
Love Reign O'er Me - Quadrophenia
The Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
"Jungleland" - from Born to Run. Closes the classic rock opera in fine style.
Todd Rundgren: Just One Victory-A Wizard, A True Star
Can't believe I forgot about this. I listened to it a couple of weeks ago.
Definitely better than my two suggestions.
Todd uses it as one of the encore at his gig, too.
Surf's Up on the album Surf's Up by the Beach Boys.
Seconded - I was about to suggest when I saw the thread.
Richard, did you know that side one of that LP was originally intended to end with Dennis Wilson's own epic 'Wouldn't It Be Nice To Live Again'? Still unreleased and unbootlegged ... Also recorded for the album was '4th of July' by Dennis which was on the boxed set released in 1992.
Second Home by the Sea. Last track side 1 on vinyl. So technically not the last track on the album but arguably it should be. Re my thread about Track Listing Order on Love over Gold.
Led zeppelin IV - When The Levee Breaks
+1.
Also by Zep: "Tea For One" on Presence, "I'm Gonna Crawl" on ITTOD, and "How Many More Times" on Led Zeppelin
