What's the NEXT concert you plan to go to ?

Posted by: Serge on 13 May 2013

Hi all,

Of course, we can remember the last concert or the most remarkable one we went to, but don't you have any plans for 2013 ?

Personally, I just bought tickets for the George Benson's concert at Montreal's 2013 jazz festival. Can't wait. I listened to his 2 CD album "The essential" and then I decided to go.

Wait to read your plans.

Serge

Looking forward to finally seeing Portishead in June in Oslo...pricey tickets though circa. £60.

Still, I do hope they are on their game and I guess this tour means they have at least a new single out, anyone heard it?

We're off to see the wonderful Martin Simpson on Friday. He's playing at the local church, a five minute stroll from my house. There's even going to be a bar set up for the occasion.

I'm off to see Mark Knopfler at the RAH in a couple of weeks.  The last concert I went to there recently was not great - Don McLean - but who knows...  I haven't seen MK play for a good many years.

Pity, can't do that day. It's a school week so can't take the kids to Ireland.

Good news is I've managed to get tickets to Southend Cliffs Pavillion show on the 29th Oct which is about 3 miles from us.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention Cbr600
