"…featuring quality independent music from Naim Label." Not really competition more like advertising — still interesting though.

Maybe its meant to compete with Linn radio

Question is......who is da DJ in da house?

Linn radio seems to play about three tracks over and over. And the Naim label is hardly (with a few exceptions) bursting with interesting music. I guess it might be good to have on while you wash up and need to focus on getting the pans clean without unneccessary distractions.

'Independent music from the Naim label'

I would really like to buy high quality CD's from Naim but the vast majority of releases are of Jazz music, which is definitely not my (nor the vast majority of the British public's, I'm led to believe) cup -of-rosie. I'm mystified why Naim don't branch out more into 'popular' and more, dare I say, mainstream Classical music. Therefore, a Jazz radio station, sorry, no thanks. But, I'll tell my Grandad (tongue, again, well embedded in cheek ).

I heard something very interesting that I wouldn't otherwise have heard the first time I listened to it (Bonnie Koloc).

I bet she had a challenge with that name at school!

It's interesting that Naim picked up on her after she hadn't released anything for quite a few years. I remember the name from the 70s. Good voice.
