Music conspiracy theories

Enough with 9/11 already! Let's get serious.

Morrissey foretold death of Princess Diana

The Smiths album The Queen Is Dead features a song ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’, that mentions death and a darkened underpass. The 13th word on side 1 is “Arches” and the 13th word on side 2 is “smash”, Princess Diana died when her car hit the 13th arch of the Alma Tunnel.

Always thought there was something fishy about that Morrisey fella - surely Sniper can come up with something

Apparently Dave Brubeck did a recording of I Remember You.  It lasted exactly 9 mins 11 seconds.

Spooky if you ask me.....

Look guys.......its not FUNNY.

All these conspiracy theories are TRUE, especially WTC. I truely know this for a FACT. I have inside information. (No! not that silly little video Sniper keeps banging on about - REAL inside information that I can't possibly disclose)

I was just winding Sniper up for a bit of fun. Now here you all go, taking the piss on all sorts of TRUE conspiracies.

The DoE must be laughing his head off. (he was behind WTC7 as well, but I guess you all knew that ?)

Cheers

Don

All of the above pales into insignificance with the news that Paul is dead.

I find that the fact that some people would go to a Morrissey concert so unbelievable that I can only believe that some kind of mind control is operating.

Love it Sniper. My sentiments exactly.

Michael Jackson owns the publishing rights to the Beatles' songs.

Morrisey? Who he?

I have heard of and admire Jim Morrison, but that is from a long time ago!

With singing of that sort of quality, it is amazing that he could assemble a backing group!

It's odd that you should bring up Jim Morrison, who faked his death in 1971.

Or maybe he's just broken through from the other side.

Or perhaps he actually met "The End, My Friend!"

Metallica stole much of their first album from Dave Mustaine.

If you play 'Tales from Topographical Oceans' @ 78 rpm it is actually the theme from The Magic Roundabout and Rick Wakeman was commissioned by the Heath government to write it to quell the rising tide of ADHD in the under 13s. Eric Thompson confirmed this in his memoirs.

This is true.

What is not quite so well known (there's a competitive element even in conspiracy theory) is that if you smash a copy with a hammer, there's a massive endorphin release which gives a feeling of peacefulness and calm lasting until someone mentions Frank Zappa.

(Damn!)
