Vinyl shops in Rome

Posted by: AMA on 15 May 2013

I'm spending a week in Rome and I want to explore local vinyl shops.

Can you share some popular and easy-access locations?

A couple of years ago I found one as we were wondering around and bought about half a dozen LPs but unfortunately I can't for the life of me remember where it was. Sorry. You could check if there's any info on the internet.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Steven, thanks for these lines.

I got some other responses via e-mail but all of them are negative so far.

Will keep searching ....

There are so many wonderful things to do in Rome AMA .. pizza bianca from the Forno in Campo dei Fiori mid-morning, carpaccio and a bottle of incredible wine, maybe a Barolo, maybe a Brunello, in Enoteca Cavour close to the forum for lunch .. dusk at the Campidoglio ... vinyl? no!

I found a nice vinyl shop: Librerie Feltrinelli.

Close to Vatican -- a cross-road of Viale Giulio Cesare and via Otranto.

I bought a bunch of new pressings just up to my taste.

I did both actually.

I particularly liked Barolo in a central square of Sienna -- it was a wonderful trip to the heart of Tuscany!

And I did vinyl too
