Uniti (2) advice

Hi al, I'm looking to enter the world of streaming audio preferably with a one box sollution and am able to buy a second hand Uniti for a reasonable price. However, iI have some concerns regarding the 50w output level of the unit. Will it be enough to fill my 340sq ft living room using moderately sensative speakers? Or should I go for the new Uniti 2 or discard the wholeone box sollution alltogether? Does anyone have any experience with the uniti in a similar sized room?

The 50w of power should be more than enough. I have much smaller room though (but there is plenty as reserve). However, you need to test yourself.

The Uniti's 50Watts should be man than enough.

but, if you have the money, the Uniti 2 would obviously be the preferable purchase.

I have a 50W/ch Uniti running Neat Motive 2 speakers. My room is 60m2.

Uniti is slightly underpowered. It can go loud at 50% volume but it cannot deliver the scale and cannot fill the room with upper bass and lower mid range. Most amps would loose their linear gain past 25-30% volume, anyway.

Go for Uniti 2 or SuperUniti if you can afford it.
