Bowie the next day - cannot load onto unitiserve

Mine is OK, however it is the standard version. If you have the deluxe version it may cause problems I think because it has a couple of "special" tracks on it.

I have my deluxe version on a standard NAS and it is fine

Ripped to UServe, no probs...has the music library synchronised......sometimes the rip is not visible immediately....

i have a similar experience with the HDX, when ripping and the albums dont appear immediately. usually on the serve software i de-select the HDX to break the intranet connection and then reselect. this usually re finds the HDX and forces a music syncronisation and sees the new albums.

othe times if the music is not showing on the ipad i look on the iphone app and it syncs and sees the new rips

    Are you using DTC?

Can you see the album listed in there?

How about changing the userve from ripping to cd play, and proving the cd plays ok from the userve?

I didn't realise that the uServe had inbuilt quality control measures 

I must admit I found the album distinctly awful - gets worse after a few listens - but then at least its not a new McCartney album.

agree,  this album was a major disappointment for me.....a Bowie fan of old...

I actually thought the same when I first heard it but gave it a chance and I like it now, not every song but there are some good tracks on there and a brilliant recording as well!

will persevere....and give it a few spins via CD ...see if helps..
