'After his crucifixion the Australian claims he entered the spirit world where he met Plato, Socrates, popes and presidents'. One could not possibly make it up!

Oh I think he did make it up.

I bet the basis of his "work" is money driven, he'll probably do a runner with the dosh sometime soon.

Some people are calling him a cult, at least I think that's what they said.

Yes - other nuts just think of you as 'normal'.

Much like the forum - which I like to think of as a big, welcoming scrotum.

Makes a pleasany change, from conspiracy theories, whether they be about 9/11 or putting men on the moon.

Cheers

People who believe every word in the Bible and people who believe the official version of 9/11 are very similar methinks. Thick as planks.

Marshall Applewhite is one of my favourite cult-leader nutters. He convinced six other men to have themselves castrated and thirty eight other people to commit suicide in 1997 for a better life on 'the other side' in the tail of the then passing Hale-Bopp comet.

'Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth' by Porcupine Tree on 'Lightbulb Sun' includes a recording of the man himself.

Hello JN, Quite random as we were only talking about this album the other day and the odd ball cult leader. I've not listened to the album since you mentioned it. A very good album indeed.

Thought the Stone Roses might have delivered a third album there for a moment.
