Superuniti vs NDX or ??

I have a mixed naim linn system - majik ds/ nac102/hi cap/nap 180/majik isobariks. Quite a mix of ages there. The speakers were my first upgrade in years after we had rebuilt our house and found that the system (then cd3.5 hicap / MA Studio 20se) just sounded too harsh in our new living room (26ftx22, lot of windows, wood floors, sparsely furnished). I bought the DS second hand  after the speakers being short of funds but convinced that a streamer was a good upgrade to the cd3.5 after testing a line out from my unitiqute into my main system.

I like a lot about how it all sounds now but think it is just a shade polite at the top end. This was a good trade from the former harshness and the isobariks produce wonderful effortless convincing bass. But I'm thinking that a better streamer with Naim's character might add a little more sparkle. So swapping the majik for a NDX looks like an obvious move. Except, my amps are aging, I wouldn't mind losing a few boxes and I'm not planning to go on the path of continuous upgrades - so might replacing all the electronics with a superuniti make more sense?

All thoughts appreciated

If you desire to simplify things (less boxes), the SU would not disappoint. You get a lot of fun and I like total experience of it. You may loose some in sound but you have a lot more to gain.

Surely you need to go audition it to decide for yourself and if possible, get a home demo.

eBay the Majik Isobariks and try Ovator S400s?
