Nick drake bbc I player

If you search the folk show on i player it Will come up with nick Radcliffe a nick drake special. Just about to watch it myself now.

It's well worth a listen if your a fan. They have various recordings including the last 4 tracks he made before he died they talk to friends including joe Boyd the producer and you even hear a song nicks mum wrote and sung about 10 years after his death. You get to hear from a variety of fans and some other fans who have covered some of his songs with an interesting and different twist of their own. There's also a book from an author I forget his name but he went travelling with nick and they busked to earn money and it showed a totally different side to nick that even joe boyd had not even seen. It was also amazing to hear that most of nicks song were recorded live and very quickly as he was very good at what he did without much re working. I shall have another listen tomorrow.
