I`m 50 yo and know the feeling. Am listening to Qute2 right now in the living room (Arvo Pärt), joined by a cup of coffee. A lovely piece of kit. Welcome to Naim forum.

Welcome Malcolm. You've just taken your first step onto a very slippery slope.  Enjoy your new 'Qute.

Welcome Malcolm!  I think of Malcolm as a man's name, but you have the generic woman's avatar here.  As my kids would say, "Just sayin'."

(In case I am right and you are indeed a man, you can change that in your Profile here, under the "Manage" drop-down menu at the very top of the page.  If not, my sincere apology.)

Greetings again.

Remember the Johnny Cash song 'A Boy Named Sue'? It could have been Malcolm.

Malcolm is also a surname.

I feel better now, the toy has arrived and through my PMC DB i they sound as good as I had hoped, I checked and i'm definitely no "Sue" so I have changed my avatar.

I love the idea of Johnny Cash and a boy called Malcolm...na it will never catch on.

Thanks for the welcome i feel at home already.

Excellent, I can imagine that the Qute and DB1i work really well together. I have a SuperUniti and GB1i, which is basically the same but a bit bigger. Now, just resist any thought of upgrades - the Qute is just fine exactly as it is.
