Searching

Hi just a quick question. Could someone tell me how to search the new forum and it's 30000 or so pages for older topics.
Particularly the 'future is olive' and prices for older olive amps.

Neilo, right now you have the "refine" option, however this seems to be somewhat limited in its reach and scope. I'm told a proper search function is on its way. Soon, I hope...

Sadly when Google scans the forum data it does not give search results that give you the thread or individual post information - it just directs you to the Forum.

This is a pity because seekers of Naim knowledge that do not know of the forum will not be able to find out potentially information in the forum by using Google.

It used to with the old Forum,

And one day searching for information on Edwin Fischer the pianist and conductor, I was surprised to find a thread of mine from the Music Room at the top of the second page of the Google search! Very good thread it was too!

Now it just sends the link to the front page of the Forum, which is not remotely useful unfortunately!

As they say, everyhting good comes to an end in the end ...
