Well if you have a spare 30k lying about i n your piggy bank you can now buy a city car from Aston martin. It is a Toyota IQ that normally costs 10k.

So will it be successful??

it is sort of a modern radford mini cooper. City style with added cachet. I am surprised that the engine has not been enhanced what with all the weight of the comfort and electronic additions.

it looks quite good in a discreet sort of way.

I think they should really have used the FORD KA. But what do i know.

Still it is only the price of a 500 cd player and most of the preamp .

Still 30k is almost a merc 350 SLK, now that really puts value into the equation.

Out of the 3 i would go for the Merc. 2 seater high performance elegant steel topped cabriolet. it is not physically large so is good in town.

I saw one on the way home last night (I live near Gaydon) and it didn't look as preposterous as I first thought, though with launch editions costing £40k and if you tick all the boxes, £50k, you have to be pretty commited to buy one (plus an AML owner).

It is a clever move by Aston though, it could lower their fleet emissions thereby enabling them to produce more cars like the One-77.....

That is the same as a 500 cd pre power and speakers.

That would also buy me a Bristol 411 series 3/4/5 and a Mazda MX5 care of BBR supercharged.
