Okay.. how to play Genius mixes though UNITIQUTE?

My PC is Windows XP and the UpNP server is the "Allegro Media Server".... or ipod plugged into the front.

Try as i might i cannot get those clever genius mixes streaming in the living room :-(

iTunes-generated Genius mixes are not externally-accessible playlists, but restricted to the local playback of iTunes through the audio hardware of your computer (or via AirTunes, if you have an AirPort Express).

Genius - like Ping - not Apple's finest hour.

You could always make your own playlists.

You can sort of achieve this.

Create a new smart playlist and select "where playlist is" and the Genius from the drop down. This only seems to get a single Genius mix and not genre specific ones. It will be dynamic though, so better than nothing.

This smart playlist is then viewable in EyeConnect and probably other UPNP servers too.
