How does one turn off the display of the nDac or is it possible?

Hi Scot,
If you contact Naim direct they can supply a copy of new firmware, that enables the display to be switched off. It is simple to install. Note that the Sync light will still illuminate if connected.

Thanks gerry. Just received my nDac, and am setting things up with my nserve, etc. I will post my thoughts in the very near future. But so far, I am impressed.

hi scot,
if you have just bought the ndac you may well have the new firmware already installed.try holding down the pre button on a naim remote then pressing the display button.this worked for me.as gerry says the sync light stays on.regards scott

All sorted. Tried the DISPLAY (held) and then pressed the PRE, and voila ! I am looking forward to my venture into distributed audio.

The proper order is to:
1. press the pre button only shortly to switch the remote to commands for the pre-amp & nDAC
2.a. press button Display shortly for turning off/on the display of the pre-amp
2.b. press button Display somewhat longer / press-and-hold to turn off/on the display of the nDAC
