Due to be unveiled at the Bristol Show.
Will be interesting to see how this compares to the NDX.

It may be very good, we will have to wait and see. Will it sound like a Naim component? I doubt it. Also, it will likely be at a significantly different price point to the NDX. It's a similar scenario with the Linn ADS [1] that I have heard. It is very, very, very good but it sounds like Linn electronics, not Naim...

Well with a dedicated remote this is not my way into streaming audio! As a blind user I need a way to control the streamer from a computer or phone or both, so Naim is a sollution that will work for me also in the streaming future. I am sure my s3 has many years service left and maybe the prices for a top streaming sollution has dropped when I decide to retire it.

Before I got the Naim bug I had a lot of Cyrus kit for a long time  ... it is good stuff with quite an aggressive sound very unlike Naim. For me it meant too many boxes and too many cables.

I prefer the Naim sound.

I think their streamers will be fine but that remote looks dreadful and definitely the wrong way to go...

The world doesn't need another proprietary remote.

This is indeed interesting, I mix Cyrus and Naim in my system and I think they can compliment each other quite nicely... The top of the range Cyrus amps and preamps are very detailed yet smooth. And of course Cyrus will  have their power supply upgrade as well...which just like Naim makes those important differences ;-) oh yes I use my Cyrus remote control to control my Naim equipment, just can't get on with the Naim one...
