Just been reported on Planet Rock. He died in Spain earlier today.

A fine blues guitarist lost.

Sad, and pretty young too. What did he die of?

No more Parisienne Walkways. Very sad indeed.
I well remember a concert in Stafford Bingley hall where he was playing with 'Lizzy & that track was played. He asked if we thought it should be released as a single? As they say, the rest is history.

Saw the great man in 1980 with his band G Force supporting Whitesnake and again 26 years later with B B King. A brilliant performer and a great loss.

Another one gone. A great guitarist, only 58.

R.I.P. Gary, thanks for the music.

I remember seeing Gary Moore on tour with Greg Lake in the 70s. Absolutely amazing. Another sad loss.

Really really sad news. I was talking with his Gary's brother Cliff, also a very fine guitarist, on Saturday night. Who would have thought the next day he would have lost his brother. I'm choked up about this news.

A sad day indeed. One of the most underrated players imo. RIP.

The first time I saw him was with Skid Row. He was also a teenager at the time, and I couldn't believe how good he was. His later success came as no surprise.
Reading between the lines of the news, it seems that it might have been a speedy "rock n roll" death. Definitely the way to go (if not the best for those left behind).
