HDX Help
Posted by: nocker on 09 August 2013
Any advise in layman terms would be appreciated.
Assuming it's looking for a wireless connection, are you sure that the wifi actually reaches the location of the HDX?
Is the new house solid brick, concrete or stone construction? This may affect the signal strength.
When you moved, did you get a new wifi router, perhaps with your new broadband provider?
Phone Phil at Naim and he is probably able to sort it remotely for you.
Regards,
Michel
It is more than likely not finding the new router. virgin routers are known to be problematic. my old router did not support uPnp so would not connect.
even after installing my new one, the HDX wouldn't connect until I did a shut down and restart of the HDX & rescanned for wifi.
Monday morning soon & no doubt Phil will be able to get you up & running in minutes! (or at least point you in the right direction!)
Call to Phil sorted it. I had to reset the IP address from a static to a DHPC one...simple when you know how!
I'm pleased to hear you managed to get sorted
