Firmware update and the n-Stream App.

Firmware version 3.21

Users of the n-Stream App. should note that the recently updated version is not compatible with Firmware version 3.20. I found out too late after re-connecting to my recently purchased Uniti2. It does connect and show the input buttons but none of the input selection, volume etc. functions work from the updated App.

My local dealer (O'Brien Hi-Fi) is resolving this by updating the firmware on my Uniti2.

funny because ive updated the n-stream and still using the last firmware version and it seems to be working fine?

I'm also using the new nstream app with the old 3.20 firmware without any problems.

I tried the same thing and it didn't work at all with 3.20 firmware on my brand new unitiqute2.

Why didn't Naim write in capital letter and in red that you can only update to N-stream 3.3 if you've done the firmware 3.21 update first??

All our equipment is far too expensive and high end to be rendered useless by software updates!!

I updated to nStream 3.3 and it worked perfectly with Firmware 3.17.

Maybe it's an issue with the 3.20 firmware then?

Perhaps you should update the firmware in that case.

Yeah, that's what I did and then updated N-stream to 3.3 and works ok'ish!

Just to confirm that my Uniti2 firmware has now been updated to version 3.21 and the latest version n-Stream App. works fine.
