Animated avatars

Hi experts!

Is there any way of disabling animated avatars please [other peoples so my computer does not show them]?

That would be good! I'm glad it's not just me that finds the 'M3' annoying. It's got me thinking whether I can change mine to a rolling inspirational Smiths lyric...

If you're using Adblock Plus, (a free and very useful bit of software) right click the avatar go to adblock plus block image, apply a filter.

You can remove any avatar this way.

I use Mac / Safari, Adblock extension works a treat.

If you want to get rid of EVERY avatar on the Naim forum, adblock will do it.

Apply custom filter, remove everything in the address after user or if that doesn't work change user to all. I tried both of these and I not a single avatar now appears on the Naim forum.

I don't want to go that far thanks. I like lots of members avatars. It was the flickery one that was doing my head in!
