Hello. I've been given the task of finding a good instrumental version of Amazing Grace to be played at a funeral. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello, Paul,
the first 2 are instrumentals and well to be used at a funeral, especially Charles Lloyd's version. But I also really love the Rod Steward version.

It depends what instruments you are looking for
I have 3 versions that i know of, maybe more hiding somewhere, on a compilation CD's
Gospel choir version with LSO backing, the choir are what makes it (for me)
Jeff Beck (amazing) guitar version, for a guitar enthusiast
Black Dyke Band, but maybe its like the guitar, for enthusiasts only
But loads & loads of more conventional are out there on www, strings, organ, full orchestra, brass, bagpipes ..... it really is a question of take your pick, I guess you need to go google, listen & grab download
