NDX : Global snuffle function by when ?

Just curious to know if such feature will be available soon ?
Being able to play on a snuffle mode all the album (allmusic) that are today available on my Syno NAS without having to create playlist.
Suchfeature was really nice on the Logitech sb3 and was also usefull to listen music that was not played since weeks month or years sometime ;-)

Shocked.
Perhaps missed this but didn t find it so far. I still have to select the album, the artist or something else before having the play function available.
Hope other will show me how to :-)

Slightly confused by the title.. If you are referring to global shuffle or random library play, then this is down to the upnp server, and using Asset 4.1 with my NDX I have global shuffle, or global shuffle only with certain meta data categories.

Sorry if my comment is not clear enough, you are right I'm referring to the fact that n-stream do not allow me such feature with My Synology (upnp)happy to see that is available on other setup.
My expectation was to ask n-stream to choose track without having to go to any preselection or Tracklist. Did I missed something on my curent setup ?

Naim were going into incorporate global snuffle in the recent firmware release, but caught a cold.
Perhaps find the solution. If selecting "upnp compatibility" on the n-steam config I can play tracks randomly but n-stream is a bit slow to react. Is this the right way ?
Hi, I dont know how to do on Synology, but it may help if I say how you do on Asset, and perhaps you map to Synology??
Using Nstream driving Asset navigate to Playlists on the Asset root selection screen, then select the Jukebox Track Set option and select it by touching it's icon for a couple of seconds. This then loads a random jukebox playlist from your entire collection into the Naim renderer playlist memory. You can set this playlist size under advanced options on Asset , and mine is set at 200 tracks.
PS I love these Asset playlists, as you can randomly select complete albums, as well as new albums or tracks and play the lists via Nstream. I use it a lot.

Tks Simon, will take a bit more time to check every option. For now on the easiest way is selectiing the "all music" folder on the n-stream app then choosing the first track et play it, then to next one will come from the entire NAS is a unstructured way. Will check if I can do the same after choosing dedicated folder like "new album" or "type"....... Would be nice if this can work.
Anyway n-steam is a lot slower than before with the "upnp compatibility "set to on. Always matter of compromise ;-)

I was tempted to draw the same conclusion! I find a fat finger in combination with the iPad mini or asking the wife to play something specific results in the same outcome...
