...unless you want 'seek to time' and all that other good stuff that goes with it...

But as long as you take the trouble to read and follow the instructions that come with the update file, the whole process will be like a walk in the park

I have remained on 3.17 and nstream 3.2

i resolved an album art issue today that was related to synology NAS so now my current setup does everything I desire without any issues at all.

unless Naim release a major functionality benefit, I think I will freeze!

It is certainly not a mandatory upgrade.  But if you would like the improved functionality and are intimidated by the process, why not take your streamer in and have your dealer do it?

Rjstaines, thank you, but I've read all the instructions!

The problem I'm experiencing is that, after download and instal the r232 driver on my Macbook Pro, the driver doesn't appear on the system profile hence I'm affraid that the computer will not communicate with the ND5 and the update will freeze it after!

The other issue about it is that we don't have a real distribuitor here in Portugal, so I cannot the the streamer to make the update.
