Kill the app by double clicking the ipad button and flicking the app off the top of the screen. Then restart the app.
Thanks for the quick reply. This has not solved the problem.i can see the now playing screen, volume ect but not my library.
Moving with the left arrow I can see the server name.when I click on that I get blank screen.upnp mode shows folders but does not give full control.
Any ideas.cheers

i have the same problem with my new NDS streamer and not finding any server
Not that I want you to have problems but at least I'm not alone.better still if our problem is a n-stream issue and not something I or we may be causing ourselves.
I have only had my nd 5 for a couple of weeks.i already have had my fair share of frustration.
Hope you get sorted.

Problem solved.it was my stupid mistake.i alterd a setting on my sever to automatically enable sharing new media servers.i reversed this and all is well.
Thanks scott
Excellent! This streaming malarkey usually works really well, but because it's all new (to me at least) the fixes don't always seem obvious.

I've had what sounds to be the same problem on my Synology DS212j NAS for the past few days - I kept getting a "Source Err. Unable to Browse" report on the front display of my Uniti2 and "Server not responding" via n-Stream on my iPad. It recognised the name of my NAS on the network but would not allow me to browse or play anything from the NAS.
All other functionality worked fine (iRadio issues aside) and I could play files via the front panel.
I tried all kinds of things to fix it last night - changed the Ethernet cables, changed to a simple unmanaged switch etc etc and was close to tearing my hair out! I also contacted support@naimaudio.com (thanks for your reply Mr Hopkins!).
Turns out that the NAS Media Server properties were as Scoot describes. Reset those and now everything works fine - I hope a similar fix works for you.
The only recent change to my setup was to install the updated n-Stream app - I had not run any updates to the server or server software/apps or made any changes to their settings.
Most bizarre!
