And it reminded me of how unnecessarily difficult upgrading my NDX was.
Shopping at the local Tesco Express may be convenient, but it's not Waitrose....

So what you're saying is, being more difficult to upgrade makes it sound better.
good logic. :/
Not at all, merely that good things are worth a little effort.

I think you've answered your own complaint here. If the ease of doing upgrades is that important to you then sell the NDX and buy something else. There seem to be quite a few people on here who use Sonos into an nDAC as their main system.
Our Waitrose doesn't have signs over or on the aisles. I realise it's a smaller supermarket, but still that seems like a serious omission!

@Wat - I think in this case you are part of Linn's target demographic
If I were buying a streamer now - the ADS would probably fit the bill nicely and their approach to software means that they are way ahead of Naim in terms of ease of use.

Not a complaint, but an observation.
the world is online, everything updates itself and is built for convenience in the consumer marketplace.
my NDX is permanently connected to the internet, so is it really so unreasonable to suggest that the upgrade procedure could be better?
