Bonnie Raitt- Minneapolis

I had the pleasure of seeing Bonnie Raitt last night. Unbelievable show with a crack band, She has not lost her edge and still plays a wicked slide guitar. Dead center next to sound boards with great acoustics. Will help appreciate my Naim rig when I return home, I encourage anyone in the US to see her this year and she is playing Europe in 2014. Highly recommended!

Caught her in Chicago a couple nights before ... one of the best concerts I've ever heard and seen. She is a total badass on guitar and as a blues-inflected singer, but then she can sit down and sing like the veritable angel from Montgomery.

And Mavis Staples, Mavis Staples, Mavis Staples!!!

I saw her in Park City, Utah circa 1991. Great show, great voice, and yeah, she's nasty on the slide. Good to hear she's still going strong.
