Looks like it is Pink Floyd tonight on BBC4.

Richard,
Thanks, I've never seen - 'A Delicate Sound of Thunder'

"Prog at the BBC" later on BBC4 looks good too. G
I enjoyed it but it would have been better on an HD transmission, especially the music.
MDS
Thanks for the tip-off, the record button was set
I went to the theatre last night & would normally manipulate a "lets go somewhere else" until the early hours. But aided by a bottle of something nice from Stellenbosch, we watched both Wish You Were Here (again) & Delicate Sound of Thunder (1st time) into the small hours.
MDS - pointless in HD as it was not recorded in that.
I recorded it as well , went to see Brit Floyd at the Odessey Belfast who were excellent, if they are playing anywhere near you ,just go and see them you will not be diappionted!

Agreed ........... I've seen both the Oz Floyd & Brit Floyd twice (some of the old Oz band became the Brit band & it looked like they used the same stage set) They really are an excellent reproduction of the real band.
I feel blessed to have seen the original Floyd in the pre fame times (not a nice listen) then during the Arnold Lane times (better) & then the PF David Gilmour led touring band (Nick, Rick + bunch of other players but without Roger) - really excellent.
The added plus with Brit Floyd was I took Mrs-B & she got the religion - now she encourages the volume to get cranked.
Top Tip - get the David Gilmour "Live In Gdansk" CD+DVD set - if your AV plays thru the HiFi - DO IT - really is excellent SQ

Mike, lucky you!
So, does that mean you saw the Floyd in '64/'65/'66/'67? Can you share your memories with us?
So you saw the Syd and Gilmour Floyds but not the Waters one?
I saw the Barrett Floyd in 67 and also saw them a few times after that but was bored to tears watching the show on the BEEB.
