Hi Guys,
I've ve been ripping some Cd's today and it suddenly became clear that I'm using the,'Burst' ripping mode whIch apparently does not recover errors during the ripping process.
i tried to reset to the secure setting but it won't let me but my question is will this setting impact on the overall sound of the files when I play them ?
I'm led to believe I have 'upgrade' dB Poweramp to PowerPack ?
Maybe I should use I-Tunes to import my files and then just send them to my NAS ?
Cheers..

If your CDs were verified as ripped correct by Accuraterip then there's nothing to worry about - the rips will be correct. The 'secure' ripping modes are only necessary when you have a cd that fails the Accuraterip check - then dBpoweramp has some tricks up its sleeve that may get a correct rip, if you leave it alone.
If you have been using the trial version, the secure and Accuraterip functionality expires after 21 days, so you may need to buy it. Hardly a great expense for an excellent piece of software.

Thanks for the advice guys.
i agree the upgrade is worth paying for and just one thing the HDCD encoding facility is good so am I correct in assuming that I'll get the full HDCD effect on playback on my Unitiqute?
