Cannot access HDX "System Status"

After several months of not having the time, I am trying to confirm my firmware version prior to updating software version 1.7a

 

However, when I try to access the "System Status" via the front panel of the HDX, after a few seconds of seemingly trying, it reverts to the home page.

 

I have also tried to access the information from the N-Serve desktop app, but all I see is a message telling me it's "loading" but it never does.

I can operate the HDX from N-Serve apps (iPad & Desktop), so I know the network is OK.

 

I have tried shutting down and restarting the HDX but I still get the same.

 

Obviously I am reluctant to even try doing the update until I know what versions I am currently running.

 

The HDX otherwise appears to be working correctly.

 

Any ideas?

Try on NServe open the more tab, select settings and the last part of that screen should give you both the nserve version and firmware version on the server. If not contact support, and let phil sort the  version out remotely.

Run the Desktop Client and look under Tools>Status & Messages>System Status.  About half way down you will see System Version.  This should work but it looks like you still have an issue with the player.

I cannot access the information through n-Serve so it looks like I will have to contact Naim. Unfortunately I am going to be working overseas for the next three months so it will have to wait.....
