Random play lists iTunes or JRiver

Is there a way to create random playlists that always play a set of songs together?  I listen to a lot of string quartets and would like to only listen to all the movements together.  I've tried to do this for years but can't seem to make it work.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Within iTunes, have you tried linking the movements when ripping.. theres a join CD tracks option available which rips them as a single track.

alternatively you can Shuffle by Grouping..

Shuffle or repeat songs

Do any of the following:

Turn shuffle on or off: Click the Shuffle button

Shuffle is on when the arrows are blue

Shuffle albums or groupings: Choose Controls > Turn On Shuffle > “by Albums” (or “by Groupings&rdquo. iTunes plays the songs in the order in which they appear on the album or in the grouping, and then chooses another album or grouping at random."

All you do is make sure you give that grouping a custom name for that group

I've tried that.  Maybe the newer version works differently.  Can I do something like "PLay Classical genre, groups of String Quartets" or do I need to call my genre String Quartet?

sorry for misinformation , just tried this on my system and could not get grouping to work. Don't think Genre will tie the tracks together when it comes to shuffle as Groupings should.

Creation of a single track when ripped, with the quartets in correct running order, is the only method i can think of which would work for sure.
