The Day of the Doctor

I feel compelled to start a thread - which may just have the one post, but how can we NOT have a thread for this?

I thought the episode was great. Yes, I know that there are interesting 'issues' left, right and centre ...but The Doctor moves inter-dimensionally, as well as in time - so I'm just going to go with it, its all timey wimey.

I thought that An Adventure in Space and Time was a great set up for the main event, and I also enjoyed Peter Davidson's skit, the Five(ish) Doctors.

It was great to see Paul McGann back in a role he should have had a proper run at, even if it was only for the a ten minute short, showing his death and transformation into John Hurt.

All in all a great series of inter-related geek TV, and all very well done.

Just gotten round to watching this. A bit chaotic but really good fun. I found it rather touching when Tom Baker made an appearance. Good stuff, be interesting to see what kind of a fist the next chap makes of the part.

We just got around to watching it, a great romp, sorts somethings out and leaves others. I think it's why I like Sci-Fi that there is no right or wrong way to do something, so if you've painted yourself into a corner the just move the corner or something. Or leave your sonic calculating for a few centuries?
