No Thanksgiving feast would be complete without.....

..... a trip to the emergency room.

With everyone cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, my wife, at the sink, suddenly shrieked. Sliced the tip of her middle finger open while cleaning the carving knife. Off we skedaddled to the ER next own over for five stitches. Then off through a few more towns to a 24 hr pharmacy open on Thanksgiving.

All is well now, she's taken her medication and is upstairs sleeping. But this will be a Thanksgiving we'll always remember.

Hope others here had a memorable (perhaps for less inauspicious reasons) ending to their holiday .
