Uniti not seeing new rips.

I am ripping cds with db poweramp to my laptop windows 8.I have no trouble steaming my library ,but I ripped a few cds this morning only to find that the uniti is not seeing them.They are on my computer and I dragged and dropped the data into Windows media player.The iphone and uniti do not seem to see them.I have played around with the laptop for a few hours now and have taken to the red wine.....Have rebooted everything but to no avail .Any ideas guys.
