Hi from Newbie

Hi all in Naimland.

I have had a Naim system for many moons...NAP90/NAC92, Flatcap. CD5i and ATC SCM 19's.

I now have the streaming bug, I have been lurking on this site for a while trying to make sense of this streaming malarky. I have had a demo of a Super Uniti with the Uniti serve and a Rip NAS. Neither worked very well and both had glitches, much to the embarressment of the Naim dealer. So I came away a little underwhelmed apart from the fact that I loved the Superuniti and decided that this is probably the way to go. I am now investigating other ripping options, namely buying a Vortexbox or using my macbook pro and a Western Digital hard drive connected to my router by ethernet. Has anyone any experience of either of these options or any other ideas?
