Uniti lite cd skipping problem

Hi all, 

i bought my unitilite in jan 2013 for my office and have used the cd player maybe 7 times. Just yesterday i tried playing a new music cd, a present from colleagues, and the disc took several minutes to load. And when it finally loaded it skipped on a few tracks. 

Initially thinking that maybe the cd is off, i tried some of my collection and while the loading sometimes went faster sometimes longer, the skipping occurred ever so often randomly, but on all cds.  Am really bummed out about this.

My unitilite will go back to the dealer shop.

i enjoyed the naim sound alot, and was about to get a nice setup for my home but i guess i will wait and see how this issue resolves.

i checked the Naim forum and  discovered that many uniti2 and unitilites have the same issue.

do you guys know whether the issue has been recognized by Naim as an issue and has it been addressed/ fixed?
