Listening Chain Challenge

Posted by: GraemeH on 08 December 2013

Let's see if this works:

I'm listening to the album Above. The challenge is to suggest the next album you will listen to which has a link to it.  The link must be described by you and can be as obvious (eg. same artist - potentially boring) or as un-obvious (some hitherto unknown/unexpected connection - potentially interesting), or as oblique as you like.

Points for the most unexpected/clever/funny connections.

Ooooh ! Spyro Gyra & Yellowjackets, these are bands I must investigate. Thanks !

Jean-Louis Murat, Le cri du papillon

Covers with butterflies can be a trap, the list is endless. As I couldn't get Lament through the other day, another try at these then-Chrysalis-recording artists:

Ultravox, Rage in Eden

Death in Vegas, The Contino Sessions

DiV following album was dubbed Scorpio Rising.

Thunderball, Scorpio Rising

Posted on: 16 December 2013 by m0omo0

Scorpio Rising is also an album by this japanese guitar-hero who once helped motivate Uma Thurman to kill Bill.

I'll go for this EP, which features a live version of Battle without Honor or Humanity at the London Roundhouse in 2012.

Tomoyasu Hotei, Arashiga Ota (Wuthering Heights ?)

He now lives in London apparently. Has anyone seen it on stage ?

This would seem linked in a couple of ways :

... which could lead to :

Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy come home
I'm so cold, let me in in-a-your-window
Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy come home
I'm so cold, let me in in-a-your-window
Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy come home
I'm so cold
