Cocktail audio x30

Hi all
Has anyone come across the X30?
A friend listened to my 'Qutes and has been on the lookout for something similar. I think a 2nd hand 'pre-loved' 'Qute would do the trick. Any views?

Never heard of it, but for £1,000 is does what a UnitiServe and a Qute does for three times the amount. The fact that it is sold by Richer Sounds means that it has no snob value, but it might be great. I'd take a Qute and a Synology NAS, but that's because I'm a Naim sheep. Baa.

Thanks for the feedback folks ...

I've tried to steer him towards a NAS as he has several thousand CDs.

But he might consider the DAC route ...
