What difference does the PSU make to the Unitiserve?

Hi all.
I am currently trying a out a 3rd party linear PSU with my Unitiserve and just wanted some views on what you thought was the diffrerence (sonically) that you have heard by using the linear PSU with the Unitiserve as opposed to the standard power adapter that comes with the Unitiserve.
To me, the music sounds a little more sibilant. The highs seem a lot clearer. Don't know if it's because the unit has yet to be run in. Any thoughts anyone has the topic would be appreciated.
