Christmas vinyl - what did you get?

Posted by: joerand on 25 December 2013

There are five LPs under my tree but I can't open them until morning.

What have you unwrapped in the earlier time zones?

Time for me to hit the hay. Merry Christmas.

Arctic Monkeys: AM
Nick Cave: Push The Sky Away
The Beatles: On Air - Live At The BBC Vol.2

However I had to buy these myself (also ordered a few from Naim but those are unfortunately still in the mail). My sister gave me some books and chocolate and that's about it concerning the presents.

Have a Merry Christmas! ... and enjoy the records.

In my opinion one of his best - if not the best album so far!

Neil Cowley Trio's "The Face Of Mount Molehill" on the way from Naim Label. Really looking forward to this one.

I have to say that I was the recipient of many lovely Xmas gifts as a kid, but the only ones I still own are my LPs. Music was always a large part of my Xmas anticipations as a teen.

Miles Davis - 'Round About Midnight.

R.L. Burnside - Too Bad Jim.

Both albums confiscated by my wife when they  arrived in the post 3 weeks ago.

It's always nice to have some vinyl at Christmas though, even if there is little to no time to play them.

I'm just listening to Miles, lovely relaxed album.

Wait! Rugrat alert!

The grandkids have arrived. No more listening for now.
