Most disappointing vinyl purchase of 2013

Probably Wings over America for me. I was really anticipating something special, but it just sounds like mud. I keep going back to it hoping it will sound better after a few replays... but alas no. Still mud.
My experience with reissue vinyl is chronicled in HERE.
Jeff Lynne's latest solo offering. We were all really excited. Utter pants.
By far, this;
Zoltan follow up their 2012 Cineploit album release First Stage Zoltan by honouring a classic British cult movie from the 1970's, 'Psychomania!'.
In their own special way, Zoltan have taken several melodic themes from the brilliant fuzzed-out score by John Cameron and created an epic 13 minute suite of astonishing 'Soundtrack Prog'.
Available as a 12" mini-LP - on green splatter vinyl and with innersleeves featuring movie stills - with one side of music and another side containing several locked grooves from the movie, this is strictly limited to 350 copies globally.
The original movie, Psychomania is one of those films that's so bad it's actually fascinating to watch, and helped out to a large degree by the fabulous film score music of John Cameron.
Zoltan [which would make a great brand name for a toilet cleaner] doesn't even come close to emulating, or covering a soundtrack version from Mr Cameron's film score.
Zoltan are far too limp, boring, and all give up and go home after 13 minutes... [although tbh i was very glad when it ended].
I must admit to not knowing what a 'locked groove' was at the time of purchase, but the whole of side 2 is used up with 5 of them, just a short few seconds of repeating bit of shrill, distorted sound, scream, or dialogue from the film - a complete waste of a vinyl pressing to do this on an LP!
So something that is marketed to look like a long player but is only 13 minutes of limp effort on side 1, and 5 x stuck sucking grooves on side 2.
My new years resolution: not to buy anymore crapy records!
Debs
Likewise Debs, although one can't always be sure. I bought the last Heaven and Hell 'double' album, The Devil you Know, a few years back. The fourth side was blank, no groove at all, musical of physical! They might have been running out of creative steam
Marillion - Brave
My favourite Marillion album and I was a CD only person when it was originally issued. This pressing is VERY disappointing. They should take a leaf from the book of King Crimson who've done some wonderful vinyl re-issues.
I had a really disappointing vinyl purchase just before Xmas from HMV, I really fancy one of the girls who works there but ended up being served by a hairy, tattooed, pierced bloke. bummer.
Life can be so unfair at times.
Being a SAHB fan I bought a re-issue of the Tear Gas album...... it is dreadful.

One of my longtime re-issue wishes is for the full Hammy Odeon show from which SAHB Live was taken!
... and also a full Be Bop Deluxe show from the Modern Music tour.
Sadly, I doubt either will ever materialize
Reflektor - Arcade Fire and OK Computer - Radiohead.
What was I thinking?
3 MOFI's which sound like crap .
The Cars first album
B52's Cosmic thing
10,000 Maniacs In your Tribe
was lucky to sell them with out losing too much money .

What was I thinking?
+1 with Arcade Fire. In addition, MOFI 45rpm Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde, especially after waiting for so long for it's release and how good it could have been when compared with the previous 45rpm reissues of Freewheelin' etc.
