vinyl records

As usual I have been buying vinyl records quite a few online and at action records at preston a very good shop,But going back the old days when you inspect the record before you buy, there always shrinked wrapped and your buying a misery. Like the joe bonamasa one got the other day, The ballad of john henry on 180 gram ,which was damaged on one side quite bad marks,so now i have got to take it back and wait for replacement, hoping thats ok.

Also had a problem with a fews others which i got online, this is a problem with vinyl its not consistent quality,Dont get me wrong I love vinyl but why can they not get it right when your paying over the odds for it.

ps HAPPY NEW YEAR

Indeed, price is no guarantee of quality. Except with Naim, of course

It's worth buying new vinyl from Amazon. Not only is it generally cheaper but returning LP's you don't like or have defects is very easy. You can get a replacement or a refund.
